Frequently asked questions

Which CI/CD tools does Testomat.io support? Testomat

Native integrations cover all major platforms. The supported list includes GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI, Bitbucket Pipelines, TeamCity, Bamboo, Azure Pipelines. Any CI tool that can run a shell command can also send reports through the universal reporter. JUnit XML output works as a fallback for any unsupported framework.

Do I need to change how my tests run? Testomat

No. The reporter wraps your existing test framework, so your test command stays the same. You add an API key as environment variables, and results start flowing into the platform.

Can I run sharded or parallel tests across multiple jobs? Testomat

Yes. Testomat.io aggregates results from multiple parallel workers into a single report tied to one run ID. Set the same TESTOMATIO_RUN environment variable across your jobs and the platform stitches the results together automatically.

Where are test artifacts stored? Testomat

Screenshots and videos are stored in your own S3-compatible storage. AWS S3 is supported natively. Other providers work via S3-compatible endpoints like DigitalOcean Spaces, Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage or any custom S3-compatible endpoint. You own and control the bucket.

Is self-hosting available for compliance reasons? Testomat

Yes. The Enterprise plan includes a self-hosted option with Docker and Kubernetes deployment support. SSO is available through several identity providers like Okta, Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, Custom SAML, SCIM provisioning, and full audit logs are also available on the Enterprise plan.
